NIMCET (NIT MCA Common Entrance Test) is the national-level entrance exam conducted by the NITs for admission to their 3-year MCA programme. A dozen-plus NITs and several other institutes use the NIMCET score for MCA admission.

Eligibility
Indian nationals with a Bachelor's degree (min. 3 years) having Mathematics/Statistics as a subject, or B.E./B.Tech, with at least 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% / 6.0 for SC/ST/PwD).
Exam Pattern
120 objective (MCQ) questions to be attempted in 2 hours, in English. Sections: Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness and General English. Negative marking applies for wrong answers.
